Wominjeka Everyone,

Reminder – Donations for Our Loose Parts Play Program ♻️✨

Just a friendly reminder that we are continuing to collect donations for our Loose Parts Play program at OSHC.

Loose parts play is a fantastic way for children to explore, create and problem-solve using everyday materials. It supports imagination, creativity, collaboration and critical thinking, while also promoting sustainability by reusing items that might otherwise be discarded.

We are still seeking donations from families and truly appreciate the support we have received so far. If you have any items at home you no longer need and feel could be used for creative play, we would love to give them a new purpose in our program.

Some examples of useful items include:• Pots and pans• Wooden spoons or kitchen utensils• Containers, tins or jars (clean and safe)• Bottle caps or lids• Small boxes or cardboard tubes• Fabric pieces or ribbons• Other interesting household items

If you have something to donate, please feel free to bring it along to OSHC.

Thank you again for supporting our program and helping us create rich, engaging and sustainable play experiences for the children! 🌿

IMPORTANT Notes:

  1. Important Notice – Industrial Action (Teacher Strike)

As you are aware, there will be industrial action (teacher strike) taking place.

If your child will not be attending school and will also not attend OSHC, please ensure you mark your child as absent via the Xplor Home app.

This is important to avoid any full cancellation fees being applied.

  1. Pupil Free Day – All Day OSHC Available

Please note that Monday 20 April (the first Monday back after the school holidays) is a Pupil Free Day.

OSHC will be offering All Day Care from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, at a cost of $95 (before CCS).

To ensure your child can attend, bookings are essential and must be made through the Xplor Home app.

If you experience any issues with your booking, please contact us via email at OSHC.

We look forward to a fun and engaging day with the children!
