Introducing our new School Council President

A note from our new School council President, Stephen Carle
Dear Students, Parents and Guardians, Staff, and Community Members
My name is Stephen and I am your president of Kambrya College School Council.
I would like to introduce myself, but before I do. I would like to acknowledge and thank my predecessor, Catherine English. Catherine was the president of the school council for many years and served the Kambrya school community faithfully during that time. Catherine helped the school become the powerhouse it is today. She has set a high benchmark for me to follow, and I intend to do my best in reaching and hopefully succeeding that benchmark.
Back to who I am. I have three sons at the school who are in years 12, 10 and 8. I am passionate about helping people and getting involved. Two of my sons play soccer at two different clubs and I help out at both. In the cricket season, I play for the Berwick Cricket Club and have recently taken up golf.
I have been married for 26 years, and for work, I am a funeral director’s assistant with 15 years of experience.
Initially I only intended to serve on the school council for one term, but seeing the passion of your principal Martin McDonald and the other staff on the council, I was inspired to stay.
This is a great school; one I am proud to be involved with.
I can be contacted on stephen.carle@kambryacollege.vic.edu.au.
Kind regards,
Stephen Carle
Kambrya College School Council President
