LNC Dance Festival
Last term, the Kempsey High School Dance Ensemble and Company proudly represented our school at the Lower North Coast Dance Festival, held at the Glasshouse in Port Macquarie.
Across the festival, our students performed three outstanding dance items—each of which was selected to appear in the Showcase Evening, celebrating the festival's most exceptional works. All dancers conducted themselves with respect and professionalism, reflecting the values of Kempsey High School with pride.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Mrs Kenyon, Mrs Mainey, and Mrs Walker for their commitment in transporting and supervising students across two long and rewarding days.
Special congratulations to Skarlyte Bennett, who returned as a student compere for two nights. She received glowing feedback for her poise and professionalism on stage.
We also commend Ruby Hoskins-Gould and Clancey Burton who assisted with the choreography of both dance items performed by Kempsey West Public School—audience favourites that drew enthusiastic applause. Well done to all involved.
