Drama Students

Year 9 Shine at the Kempsey Eisteddfod

We are thrilled to share that our Year 9 Drama students recently took part in the Kempsey Eisteddfod – their very first time competing, and what a fantastic debut it was!

The students performed a short skit from Skate by Debra Oswald, showcasing their talent and teamwork, and were awarded Second Place for their efforts – an incredible achievement! They also wowed the audience with an impromptu performance based on the fun and chaotic theme, "The grand opening of a restaurant goes hilariously wrong," which was highly commended by the judges.

This experience not only allowed our students to build confidence and creativity but also brought the school community together. A big thank you to our dedicated SLSO Vonnie for her ongoing support and guidance. We also extend our appreciation to the parents who came along – your support means the world to our students.

We are so proud of Year 9 and can’t wait to see what they do next!
