Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Carers, 

Our Year 12 students embarked on their first exam yesterday, and it was very pleasing to see that they used all of the time allocated to give their English paper the best opportunity for success.

World Teachers' Day will be celebrated in Victoria on Friday 31 October 2025. The day honours the passion and hard work of teachers, who play a crucial role in shaping the minds and futures of our students.

World Teachers’ Day was established in 1994 by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation to recognise the role of teachers in society. The focus for this year’s celebration is: recasting teaching as a collaborative profession. 

I congratulate all of the teachers at Seymour College for your steadfast support of our students, to ensure that they have the best possible outcomes. Our Education Support staff are also to be congratulated, as their support of our teachers is invaluable.

Remember, every school day counts in the education of your child.
