It was about keeping your body healthy and healthy food and running races and body parts. Harold was really funny. We learnt that when we have to do a race we need sleep, water and good food.
Billy
You have to eat healthy food like blueberries, pasta, yoghurt, chicken, and carrots. We had to touch a mat with a picture of a person and you had to touch different body parts. I liked watching Harold do a running race.
Louis P
I liked that I got to touch Harold. I had to put the fruit in his mouth. Harold was running a running race at his school fair and the foods were to help him be healthy and have energy to run.

For our marble party we could wear an ocean colour or our normal clothes. We played keepy uppy. If the balloon landed in your square you sit down. The last team that was standing got to win. For investigation we did big shapes.
Leo
We filled up our marble jar. We get a marble when we do a good job. Today is a marble jar party. We played octopus and keepy uppy with the jellyfish balloon. We also had investigations today. I did craft.

Above: Preps are learning about data!

We are learning how to use estimating in maths. We had to estimate how long a spoon was if we measured using paper clips.
Marty
Estimating is useful because it helps you think.

Kitchen Garden Harvest
Our renovated kitchen garden produced a bountiful quantity of fresh vegetables, ably tended by our grade 3 students. Check out the harvest below.

Sim's Shed
Grade 5 enrichment has never been so colourful! Our wonderful Education Support Sim has helped our grade 5 students to bring colour and sound to our winter kitchen garden. Students learnt to saw, drill, paint, bead and knot.

An update from Vivi's mum:
Vivi had great sucess on Saturday winning the U13 Victorian All Schools Cross Country Championships for BBPS! It was a very wet and muddy course. She sprinted at the end moving into first place. She has now qualified for the nationals later in the year.
On Wednesday she also represented BBPS in the School State Regional Cross Country (SSV) where she got 2nd! She will now run in the State Champions next term.
She showed great resilience and determination representing her school. As always we are immensely proud of her.

From Andrew at All Stars Martial Arts Academy:
We had our in-class karate gradings today, with students successfully achieving their Yellow Belt.
It was fantastic to see the students demonstrate amazing focus, confidence, discipline and effort throughout the session. We are very proud of their progress and commitment this term.
