Congratulations Samuel Land

Congratulations to Samuel Land, who has been successfully selected to attend the 2026 QMEA/BMA Oresome Minds Camp during the September school holidays.

The highly competitive program will take place in Dysart and includes an exciting visit to BMA’s Saraji Mine, giving students the opportunity to experience the mining industry firsthand.

Samuel was selected from an exceptionally talented group of applicants, making this a fantastic achievement and a wonderful recognition of his hard work, commitment and enthusiasm for STEM.

The Oresome Minds Camp provides students with a unique opportunity to explore STEM and engineering through engaging, hands-on experiences, while connecting with like-minded students from across Queensland.

We are incredibly proud of Samuel and look forward to hearing about his experiences and learnings when he returns from the camp.
