Andy Griffiths Author Visit for Years 2-4
On Monday 24 August – on the very first day of Book Week – our Years 2 to 4’s went to an author talk by Andy Griffiths. Andy Griffiths has written the “Just!” (Tricking, Annoying, etc) series, the recent acclaimed series “The Treehouse” books (The 13 Storey Tree House, etc), and Andy’s newly released his series “You and Me”. He presented an exciting and entertaining talk about these books, as well as talking about his “Treehouse” series. Andy Griffiths is the Australian Children’s Laureate 2026 - 2027 and part of his role is to visit schools and inspire students to read, write and illustrate. You can find some of his resources here -

Overdue Books
As it is nearing the end of our Term, it would be appreciated if you could ensure that any books that are overdue or haven’t come back to the library for a long time, are returned before the end of Term 3. I will be sending out notes at the beginning of Term 4 to let you know what is still borrowed out under your child’s name. We would love the books back so that other students can borrow them.
