Australian Mathematics Competition

In early August, 74 students from Greenvale Primary School participated in the Australian Mathematics Competition. It was a fantastic day that gave students the opportunity to challenge themselves and apply their mathematical thinking in new and interesting ways. Students worked through a range of problems increasing in difficulty. Throughout the competition, participants demonstrated excellent resilience when faced with challenging questions. Every student who participated should be proud of the effort and determination they showed. Well done to everyone involved on a wonderful day of maths.

The results of the Australian Maths Competition take quite a while to come out. Early in term 4, we will celebrate the achievements of students at an assembly. Watch this space.
