Remembrance Day
This week our school captains Nash and Henry represented our College at our town’s Remembrance Day Service whilst our Vice Captains and Senior School Leaders paid tribute with a whole school service at our College.
Year 11 Exams
Our Year 11 exam timetable is in full swing. Much planning has gone into this examination period to prepare students for the examination process that they will encounter in Year 12. This examination period was reviewed two years ago, where feedback was sought from present, past and future senior school students.
Year 12 Exams
Our Year 12 examination period is on the home stretch and our students sitting exams have been incredible. They have shown great resilience and have been in and out of the study centre to prepare. Our venue has now had a change due to construction works on our Dimboola Road campus. All students impacted by this change have been notified.
Year 12 Graduation
Our Year 12 Graduation ceremony will be held on Monday 15th December at the Horsham Town Hall. The change in venue was predominantly because of the construction works on our Dimboola Road campus which would mean we would have no power and limited car parking, but also based on student numbers. This event is semi-formal for dress code. Due to capacity, there is a limited number of seats available, however as we start to confirm numbers, additional tickets may be available for additional family members. We understand the frustration of only gaining access to specific amounts of tickets, however we can only work on venue capacity. The Town Hall will allow more seats than our Ian Maroske Hall.
Year 11 Students
The last day of attendance for Year 11 students is Friday 28th November. Students are sitting their internal exams this week and then will commence their first two weeks of Year 12. Students will have received their headstart timetables and information in relation to subject changes.
Year 10 Students
The last day of attendance for year 10 students is December 5th after a week of year 11 headstart. Due to department policy and students age this is mandated by the department. Therefore students will be marked absent if they stop attending prior to this. If you have a concern or wish to discuss please contact Liam Offer, Assistant Principal of year 10 to discuss.
