Kingston Division Football Finals

The CSPS Gold team competed in the Kingston Division Football Finals during the first week of this term, marking the first time in many, many years that a CSPS team has reached this stage. The team played four matches, securing one win. A big thank you to Mr Higgins for his energy and enthusiasm in leading the team.

“It was a great day. We all tried our hardest. Everyone contributed. We all had fun!” Toby O (Y6)

“It was a strong competition. Everyone stepped up as we were missing some of our better players. Overall, it was a great day!” Samuel (Y6)

“Our teamwork was our most significant aspect of our efforts. It was good to have a mix of Year 5 & Year 6 students play so well together.” Oscar (Y6)State Cross-Country

State Cross-Country Championships

A huge congratulations to Yuval B (Year 5) who recently competed in the State Cross-Country Championships. His dedication and extra training outside of school enabled him to surpass last year’s achievement as a regional representative. Congratulations Yuval from all of us at CSPS!

“It was a really nice day. I competed against the best runners in Victoria. The course was difficult. There was one big hill after the first kilometre and the surface was uneven and slippery in places. I had a fun day, and I am proud of coming in 24th place. I was only 54 seconds behind the winner. I really enjoy running and I am going to keep training for next year. My Grandpa bought me a Vic State hoodie!” Yuval B (5B)

Team Vic Soccer

A huge well done to Leni S (Year 6) for her selection in the Team Vic soccer team. Leni’s enthusiasm for the game, strong work ethic, and consistent efforts to improve have been a joy to witness over a number of years. Leni will represent Victoria at the National Championships which will be held in Ballarat in October. Congratulations and good luck Leni from all of us at CSPS!
