Ryde Eisteddfod - Thursday 13 August
Last Thursday, the Training, Junior, and Concert Bands took the stage at the Ryde Eisteddfod and performed brilliantly. Their commitment, discipline, and musicality shone through in every piece. Congratulations to all three bands for their outstanding performances and musical dedication. A special shout-out to Training Band for coming First place in their category—an impressive achievement!
Festival of the Bands - TONIGHT Tuesday 25 August
Please ensure all band students arrive at the Carlingford High School Hall by 6:30pm so they have time to set up and get ready. We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening of music.
Upcoming band events
Please put the following dates into your diaries.
- Thursday 15 October - Epping District Music Festival: At Chatswood Concourse 7pm. Concert Band will be performing. Parents are welcome to attend - tickets can be purchased at https://AUCENTURY.sales.ticketsearch.com/sales/salesevent/167220. Performing students do not need a ticket.
- Sunday 8 November - Hornsby North Band Festival **Please note date change**: All bands will be participating.
- Wednesday 11 November - Remembrance Day assembly at RPS: Concert Band will be performing.
- Friday 27 November - Carols by Candlelight at RPS: Night time event. All bands will be performing.
