Grade 4 | Myrtle

Our Year 4 students have been exploring the exciting world of warm and cool tones through vibrant artwork inspired by the sun, sky, and stars. Students learned how colours can create different moods and feelings, using warm colours such as reds, oranges, and yellows to represent energy and heat, while cool colours like blues, purples, and pinks created calm and contrast.

Using oil pastels and careful shading techniques, students designed artworks that combined creativity, colour blending, and bold line work. The finished pieces beautifully showcase each student’s imagination and growing understanding of colour theory. We are so proud of the creativity, effort, and artistic skills displayed throughout this unit!
