Character Descriptions

We have been looking at character traits as part of our narrative unit. We watched several videos showing characters from movies such as Gru (Despicable Me), Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmatians) and Lord Farquaad (Shrek). The students had to provide evidence from the video clips that showed various character traits (eg: Gru was impatient. He used a freeze ray gun to freeze people in the coffee shop, so he didn’t have to wait in line). Each student then chose a staff member. They had to write two paragraphs about them. One paragraph describing their character traits and one paragraph describing their appearance, role in the school, hobbies and interests. 

Leavers’ Hoodies

Students were very excited to receive their Leavers’ Hoodies this term. They are perfect for the cooler months.
