The Year 8 Team would like to welcome students and families back to Term 2. Term 2 is a very busy Term at Year 8, with plenty of sports, extra-curricular activities and of course, Year 8 Camp to Phillip Island Adventure Resort.
Around Year 8
Sports
In the last three weeks, Year 8 boys Cricket, Boys and Girls AFL went out to Sale. All teams displayed great sportsmanship and our school pillars in the community, some even coming away with a win.
LBU Hot Chip Lunch
To begin the term, students who received an LBU of 3.5 or above at the end of Term 1 were awarded with a hot chip lunch. This has become a nice tradition to celebrate success.
Classrooms
Relationships & Resilience
In R&R, Year 8s have been working on several skills and relationship building such as goal setting, identifying trusted adults at Kurnai and camp planning.
