Primary Zone Athletics

On Tuesday, August 13th, a group of students from St Luke’s took part in the Blacktown Zone Primary Athletics Carnival. They all performed admirably, setting numerous personal bests.

A special shout-out to Cameron (Stage 3), who was named the Junior Boys Age Champion, and to Hannah (Stage 3), who earned the title of Under 12 Girls Runner-Up at this event.

In the coming days, several of our students will compete in both the Primary and Secondary Diocesan Athletics Carnivals. We wish them all the best as they compete against the best from the Parramatta Diocese.

Season 3 Thursday Representative Sport (Year 7 - 10)

Season 3 of Rep Sport starts next week. We have teams entered in the following sports:

Year 7/8 Girls Basketball, Year 9/10 Girls Basketball, Year 7/8 Boys and Girls Touch Football, Year 9/10 Boys Touch Football, Year 7/8 Boys Cricket, Year 9/10 Boys Cricket, Year 7/8 Boys Football Fives and Year 9/10 Boys Football Fives. 

The draws for this comp can be found on the following website where results each week will also be posted.  We wish all our teams the best of luck this season. 

NSWCCC Netball

Congratulations to Salote (Year 11) for recently being selected for the U18 NSWCCC Netball team. This is an outstanding achievement and will now see Salote compete at the NSW All Schools Challenge later in September. We are so proud of Salote and wish her the very best for NSW All Schools.

NSWPSSA U12 Rugby League 

Congratulations to Cassius who recently travelled to Wagga Wagga to participate in the NSWPSSA Rugby Union U12 State Championships. Cassius was part of the MacKillop team which placed 7th overall in the state. We congratulate Cassius and his team for their exceptional effort whilst playing against the best U12 Rugby League players from around the state.
