Intermediate Girls Hockey - State Finals

A huge congratulations to the intermediate hockey girls for coming runners up in the state championship. 

The girls commitment and sportsmanship was on show across all 4 games and for this they should be proud. To make it into the grand final, the team won 3 games and were thrilled to be in the grand final. The grand final was a very close game with Hume Anglican College scoring first however it was evenly matched from there. A sneaky goal just after half time equalised the score unfortunately Hume scored another goal and were the winners. Although disappointed, the girls were gracious in defeat and are already planning the 2026 come back! 

Thank you to Claire Bruce who has successfully got two teams into the State Championships this year! This our second team this year to make it into the final at this level.
