Dear Families, Students and Community Members,

Market Day Success

Our Market Day was a fantastic showcase of creativity and enterprise. Students sold some brilliant products supported by some clever marketing strategies. Some groups sold out in minutes! Well done to the My Future My Pathway students and teachers for your hard work and enthusiasm and a special thank you to Mathew Smith for organising the event. 

Student-Led Conferences

Congratulations to all Year 7–9 students for putting together thoughtful and impressive conferences to showcase their learning from throughout the year. The standard of conferences continues to improve and staff were impressed by how well students spoke about their year and reflected on all learnings. Thank you to all parents and carers who attended and helped celebrate a successful year of growth and achievement. 

Gumbuya World Excursion

Today, our Year 7 and 8 students are enjoying a well-earned day of fun at Gumbuya World, celebrating the end of the academic year with water slides, rides and time spent with friends. Students should have worked through their Headstart checklist yesterday and be ready to begin their 2026 year level on Monday as Headstart gets underway.

2026 School Captains

A huge congratulations to all applicants for the student leadership roles. Students delivered some well written and thoughtful speeches late last term. Congratulations to the following students that have been successful in their application.  

The full 2026 leadership team will be announced next Tuesday during the Headstart Assembly.

Valedictory Evening

What a brilliant night celebrating the graduating Class of 2025. Students looked wonderful and should be incredibly proud of all they have achieved. A heartfelt thank you to all staff involved in organising such a memorable evening for our graduates and their families. A special shout out to Bella Kennedy and Michael Haber. 

I wish every student success as they enter their next year level and I hope they all make the most of the Headstart period.
