End-of-year Concert 

As we wrap up 2025, we are so proud to celebrate what was an amazing year for the Music Department. Our End of Year Concert was a wonderful opportunity to share the talent, teamwork and enthusiasm our students showed across all our bands and ensembles. Every group brought something special to their rehearsals and performances and it was fantastic to see how much everyone had grown as musicians.

A huge thank you to our dedicated music teachers for their support, creativity and encouragement throughout the year. We also appreciate the help of other teachers on the night, whose support made the evening run smoothly.

The whole evening would not have been possible without the incredible efforts of our students. Their dedication and passion in rehearsals before school, during lunches and after school reflected in their heart-warming performances. They put on a real show during the evening with plenty of highlight performances, backed by a beautiful twilight to set the scene - our Year 7 and 8 massed bands being particularly memorable moments. We cannot wait to see where their musical journeys lead them in the future!  We also send a heartfelt thank you to our amazing Music Parents and volunteers. Your help setting up, running concerts and cheering on our students makes all the difference.

This concert was especially memorable as it marked the final performance for our Year 12 students, celebrating their time and all of their hard work throughout the years at Thornbury High school. We wish you all the best for the future!
