Jyll is Shooting for the Stars!

This past weekend (Saturday, 23rd August), Jyll (3C) participated in the Gymnastics For All (GFA) competition at Waverley Gymnastics Centre. It was a fun and inclusive event for gymnasts aged 6 to 18 and the event focuses on participation and teamwork. Jyll participated and represented her gymnastics class (Twister's Gymnastics) as part of the Shooting Stars team, competing in the Intermediate/Advanced category (black level and above).

I'm proud to share that Jyll's team won gold in their category, competing against 5 other teams. It was a wonderful team effort, and Jyll was thrilled to contribute to their success.

♟ Chess Club Achievements – Girls Shine on the Board!

We are thrilled to share our recent successes at the inter-school chess tournament at Ivanhoe Primary School, which brought together nearly 16 schools and over 60 talented players.

Our very own Eesha (4A) claimed the Gold medal, while Chelsea (2B) brought home the Bronze medal – her second consecutive bronze in the last two tournaments!

We are particularly proud to see more girls at our school taking up chess, winning big, and representing Carlton Gardens. 

A big congratulations to Eesha and Chelsea – well done!
