Champion House

Congratulations to MacKillop House, crowned Champion House with 596 points. Benilde finished strongly in second place with 557 points, closely followed by Chisholm and Miguel. Congratulations to both Anabella Bayer and Oliver Bradshaw being House Captains.

Cross Country Success

Our largest-ever Cross Country team represented the College at the Sydney Championships, with an impressive 11 runners qualifying for the NSWCCC Championships. A special congratulations to Amelia Dewhurst, who progressed to the NSW All Schools Championships and finished an outstanding 19th in the state.

A special mention also to Remi Mihalj, who competed admirably against older competitors. Thank you to Year 12 student Hannah McKay for coaching and supporting our girls through each gymnastics skill.

External Sporting Achievement

Congratulations to Tony Reid (Year 8), who recently won the prestigious Lloyd Elphick Trophy at the U18 Tournament held at Cronulla Golf Club.

Interschool Snow Sports

The College proudly fielded a team at the Interschool Snow Sports Championships for the first time. Congratulations to Alvin Centeno, Kara Emans and Milan Goldsmith on qualifying for the NSW Championships.

 

Alvin qualified individually in both snowboard cross and slalom events, while Kara and Milan placed fourth in both team events. Kara qualified for both individual events, and Milan qualified for snowboard cross. We also acknowledge the excellent efforts of Aria Simpson and Grace Mulhall, who represented the College with distinction.

Looking Ahead

We wish all students competing in the upcoming Conference Athletics (19 August) and Tennis Championships (Girls 13 August, Boys 20 August) the very best of luck.

 

Term III is now underway, with students representing the College in AFL and Rugby 7s competitions. We look forward to seeing our teams continue to demonstrate skill, determination and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season.
