Senior Years Report

Year 12 English Speech Day
This term, Year 12 VCE English students have been working hard on writing speeches on an issue of their choosing. On Friday July 24th, students each presented their speech to a panel of assessors. The panels were so impressed to see the level of effort students put into dressing up in the ‘character’ of their speech persona, their creation of visual aids, and their commitment to practicing their speeches prior to the presentations.
Common speech topics included the rise of AI, issues within AFL, animal rights and youth crime laws.
A huge thank you to all the teachers who gave up their time to be on panels and congratulations to all the Year 12 students who presented on Friday.
Kind regards,
Michelle Foot
