Science Week

The Science department celebrated Science Week from the 12th - 18th August. This year’s theme is ‘Innovation: Powering future industries’. The theme incorporates the advancement in technology in all industries, especially using artificial intelligence (AI). 

We ran activities and competitions throughout the week with the following students and staff winning some sweet prizes.

Science Week Competition winners:

  • Guess the number of m&ms in the flask – Honey Imad 9E
  • Science Legend Awards – Tiffany Tran 9G and Jeanna Liang 12D
  • Trivia Winners – Jeanna Liang 12D and Jed Garcia 9H
  • Egg drop competition – Thu Pham, Tomi Abbas, William Cody, Connor Williams, Jayden Chau, Danny Le and Sienna Nguyen.
  • Top Gun Award (most aerodynamic paper airplane): David Tinoi 8E
  • Top crowd wrangler for Science Club – Mr Hill
