Father’s Day 

Thank you to all of the Dads, Grandpas, Uncles and father figures who joined us for the Father’s Day Breakfast and Liturgy. It was a wonderful morning celebrating the special role you play in our students' lives and our STMM community. Thank you to Kindy, Year 1 and Year 2 students and their teachers Ms Pribilovics, Ms Parry and Ms Geraghty who prepared and organised the students so well. It would not have been possible without our volunteers who helped run the Father’s Day Stall, cooked the Bacon and Egg Rolls and helped get coffees in the morning. A final thank you to Ms Lancaster who provided the music for the morning - thank you for sharing your incredible talents with us! 

First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation 

Congratulations to Dominic, Roshan and Angeli who made their Sacrament of First Reconciliation. May this special occasion mark the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith, forgiveness, and peace. Thank you Fr Michael for leading us in the sacrament. 

This week, our First Holy Communion Candidates have been busy preparing for the Sacrament this weekend. Candidates were deeply engaged throughout their retreat day, beautifully led by Mrs. Green and Ms. Harrison, where they spent time reflecting on the significance of the Eucharist and their faith journey. Please keep these students in your thoughts and prayers this week. 

Everyone in our STMM community is most welcome to come and support our students at the Sacramental Mass this Saturday at St Margaret Mary’s Church at 5:30pm.

CWF Fundraiser

The Charitable Works Fund is our Archdiocese of Sydney’s charity. It is a great instrument to reach out to the most vulnerable in Sydney including the homeless, people struggling with mental health challenges and single mothers. It supports and empowers our indigenous people, seminarians, deaf and hard of hearing people, catechists and many more.

This year, STMM will be having a mufti day (red, yellow and blue) and will have an opportunity to buy ice blocks and chips at both break times. All proceeds from this day will go to the CWF. 

70th Birthday Celebrations

Thank you to everyone who has RSVP’D for the 70th Birthday Celebrations. We have a number of past families, teachers and other distinguished guests attending with our list of attendees still growing! There is still time to RSVP if you would like to attend. Please click the link to fill in the form. 

If you know of anyone who would like to attend, please pass the invitation on to them! If they have any questions or any trouble RSVPing, please get them in contact with the office. 

PLEASE NOTE -  in the afternoon of our Feast Day, we will be having a family feast (picnic style lunch) around 1/1:30pm. All families are invited to attend and join us for an afternoon of games, fun and music! More details will be outlined in the next newsletter.
