Updated - Colour Run
The school colour fun run was a huge success measured by the smiles and laughter that filled the school oval on Friday 14th November. We could not have asked for a more incredible day.
This day could not have occurred without the incredible input and assistance of all the superstars that put their hand up and jumped in to assist at every corner. A huge shout out to the Parent and Friends Team, staff and community helpers. As a school the students are truly blessed with the best.
The colour fun run seen not only our amazing students running through the obstacle course through a cloud of rainbow colouring but, joining in the fun were incredible teachers (which are a blessing – Best way to show the kids enjoyment is by role modelling this), our local firefighters who not only protect our community but show our students the fun light side and the ‘mist’ of fire truck operation was a huge hit and very welcomed by all. Our local Mayor Shane Sali again showing community that mayors are not all about the serious policies behind the desk, we very much appreciate a mayor who is here for the community and our young generation. I think I heard a quote “I had no idea our mayor was so young”. And a huge shout out to the leader of the school Principal Elaine Vertriest for truly embracing the day and joining in the cloud of colour to role model to students the fun and excitement of the event.
Christmas Raffle
We understand that 2025 has been a challenging year for many families. If you are able to assist, we kindly ask for donations of non-perishable Christmas items. Please hand your donation to your child’s classroom staff by Friday, 5 December.
Each family will receive a booklet of 10 raffle tickets to be sold for $1 each ticket, these have been distributed this week. Please return your sold tickets to your child’s classroom by Wednesday, 10 December.
The raffle will be drawn at the End of Year Carols Celebration on Wednesday, 10 December.
