A new Youth myki card will be available for $5. Once purchased, with a Youth myki young Victorians can ride trains, trams and buses in Victoria for free.
Details on how to get a Youth myki card will be provided in December ahead of 1 January 2026.

- SBP travellers will continue to be prioritised as per SBP policy.
- A student bus list will be sent to each school to confirm student details. Please notify the GSSC Student Transport Team of any changes promptly.
- The issuance of bus passes remains at the discretion of individual bus operators.
If you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact Linda Piastri on 58912024 or email bus@gssc.vic.edu.au
REMINDER - Late arrival / Early collection
Students who arrive at school after 8.50am must present to the office for students to be signed in.
Students who leave school before 3.20pm will need to be signed out through the office.
Parents are asked to attend the office and sign students in or out via the Office ipad.
If your child is going to be late or leaving early, please notify the office or your teacher direct rather than submitting via PAM.
Student Absences
Please notify the school by either a phone call to the office or notification via the PAM App if your student is going to be absent.
If you don't notify the school with a reason of absence, you will receive an SMS. If we do not hear from you or an absence note sent through on PAM, you will receive a call from the administration team to verify your students absence.
As per the Victorian Education Department attendance requirements -
'The school must record student attendance twice per day in primary schools and in every class in secondary schools and record, in writing, the reason given for each absence. This is necessary to:
- meet legislative requirements
- discharge schools' duty of care for all students
- assist calculation of the school's funding
- enable the school governing body (school council in government schools) to report on student attendance annually.'
