Community Walk

The Preps embarked on an exciting journey to the Post Box and Damper Creek Reserve Playground on Thursday 12 June. They learned about how mail works and enjoyed identifying various street signs in our neighbourhood. Here’s what some of the students had to say:

“This is the best day ever!” 

“Look at those digger tracks!” 

“We’ve seen 100 houses!” 

“Look! A community service!” 

“That’s my house!” 

“Watch out for the dog poo!”

What a wonderful experience exploring our community!

We’re looking forward to our Community Helper Dress Up Day next Friday, 27 June.

We hope your child has received their invitation for the Dress Up Day next Friday that was posted to their home on our recent Community Walk. This invitation includes a drawing of the Community Helper they would like to come dressed up as. Some Community Helpers ideas are Doctor, Teacher, Nurse, Construction Worker, Police Officer, Firefighter, Dentist, Chef, Vet, Farmer, Bus Driver, Garbage Collector, Plumber, Librarian. 

Parents are invited to join us from 3pm next Friday.
