Australian Mathematics Competition
The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) is the longest-running and most renowned maths competition in Australia, first held in 1978. It is open to students in Years 3 to 6 and aims to challenge and extend their problem solving skills with unique problems designed each year by leading educators and academics. This year will are looking to compete in the paper-based competition.
We are seeking expressions of interest for this competition by next Wednesday, 25 June. This is not a compulsory competition, however your response is required to the expression of interest notification in Compass - Accept Event (participating) or Decline Event (not participating). Please note that no late entries will be accepted after this date.
By opting in to this event, you are committing to having your child participate. The cost will be approximately $12-$15. A separate event will be created for parents who opt in (Accept Event), and payment will be required.
The competition will be held at school, sometime between 5 and 7 August this year.
