This term, our Year 9 cohort had the exciting opportunity to take part in hands-on workshops run by Empowered Women in Trades in partnership with the Big Build Project team.

Students rolled up their sleeves and explored a wide range of trades — from tunnelling, painting, plumbing, and electrical work to bricklaying, roof tiling, and even building their own planter boxes!

It was an inspiring day that opened students’ eyes to the many pathways and possibilities in the trades industry. A big thank you to EWIT and the Big Build team for making this experience possible!
