Meet our Staff

Mrs Moore
I’ve been teaching at POPS for over 20 years, starting as a full time classroom teacher and then in 2019 moving to the Art Room to work part time. I also have been teaching Cucina with the year 3 and 4 students since 2023.
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors. I love to camp with my family, garden, going for walks and skiing. I also volunteer as a leader with Scouts. My indoor interests include cooking, reading, playing board games and making Pottery.
Favourite foods – Bacon, Chips and Ice-cream (not together!)
Favourite colour – purple
Favourite season – Autumn
My message to everyone is whenever you have spare time, use it to make something.
Mrs Carbone
I am the PE teacher at POPS and have been teaching for 20 years. I am also the District Sports Coordinator, and I am passionate about helping students develop confidence, skills, and a lifelong enjoyment of movement.
I live in Eltham with my husband, my three children - Phenix (17), Willow (15), and Jude (9) and our dog, Ace. A big part of my life outside of school is spent supporting my children in their sporting journeys. I also coach Rep netball for Banyule, which allows me to stay connected to the game I love while giving back to the community.
Sport has always been a huge part of who I am. I love all sports, especially netball, basketball, tennis, and snowboarding. When I’m not coaching or watching my kids play, I enjoy being outdoors - whether that’s at the beach or up in the mountains. My favourite colour is blue, and my favourite foods are my mother-in-law’s Italian cooking and Japanese cuisine.
