Grade 3 | Blackwood

We have had a great start to the year in Grade 3 Blackwood. We are thoroughly enjoying engaging with Matilda as part of our Literacy unit. We have been learning what makes a good narrative text as well as lots of new vocabulary words. We have been learning to expand our sentence writing and make it more interesting by adding coordinating and subordinating conjunctions. 

Our Maths blocks have been filled with learning our timetables, and using vertical algorithm to solve problems involving bigger numbers. This week we have been learning a new Resilience project rap and are looking forward to recording this and watching the end product.
