St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal and Sacred Heart Mass

Thank you to all families for your generosity in donating food and warm items to the Vinnie's Winter Appeal. The children enjoyed wearing their winter woolies and pjs to school and bringing along an item to share. This is a concrete way to show love and concern for those most in need. Everything that was collected was presented to the parish community at Mass  for our celebration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Congratulations to our readers, altar servers and musicians and those who took up the offertory. 

Fr Aurelio invited us to reflect on the love of Jesus and to pray for those we love. Many of the children enjoyed the opportunity to light a candle as a way of praying for someone or something. It was lovely to see some of our families join us for the occasion.
