Middle School

The annual Athletics Day was a huge success throughout the Middle School. In fact, having been involved with this event over many years at the College, it honestly felt to be the best Athletics Day I have ever been involved with. 

The enjoyment amongst both students and staff was the true highlight for the entire day. The energy and camaraderie exhibited by boys from all Houses, throughout the final relay races, was a spectacular conclusion to a great day enjoyed by all involved. The Paddy Boys spirit was truly outstanding, and all students and staff should be congratulated for their efforts in making this day so memorable. 

I am now looking forward to seeing how this continues at our next major Middle School event, the Swimming Carnival. One can only hope that the same height of euphoria is reached to make this day equally memorable. 

Unfortunately, due to a range of circumstances with changes in previous years events and other competing factors in our calendar that have arisen, our planned Year 9, The Rite Journey Commissioning evening has had to be cancelled. Please accept my apology for any disappointment and confusion this has caused. We will endeavour to rectify this issue, via an alternative solution in the coming weeks ahead.

In what feels like a mere blink of the eye, we find ourselves at the midway point of Term 1 already and the year is just powering ahead at an incredible pace. As I keep reminding the boys there is so much to do and so little time that we must always take advantage of every opportunity, in every moment of each day, we get to be engaged in our shared teaching and learning environment within the Middle School.
