Year 8 & 9 Camps

Year 9 Sailing Camp
Sailing Camp
We learnt a lot over these few days, sailing was a good experience to have for all students.
We learnt how the boats functioned, including the sails, rudder and the tiller. Everyone had the experience of each three roles in a sail boat.
We had crew 1, crew 2 and the skipper. We enjoyed the thrill of being out on the water sailing and racing, having good fun with activities and challenging outcomes.
The best things we experienced was the weather being nice, so it was cruisy, spending time with each other and getting to know each other.
Best part was the communication, the encouragment and the team work all students had and participated in all aspects of the camp.

Year 8 Canberra Camp
Our Year 8 students set off bright and early on Tuesday morning, arriving at school at 5:30am to begin their Canberra Camp adventure.
Over the course of the trip, students had the opportunity to visit a range of iconic and educational locations including Parliament House, the National Museum of Australia, the National Arboretum, and Questacon. These experiences provided valuable insights into Australia’s history, government and innovation, bringing their learning to life outside the classroom.
It has been a fantastic few days filled with learning, exploration and new experiences.
We look forward to welcoming our students back home later today.
