Anzac Day Service

Last Friday 24th, Lakes Entrance Secondary College held our annual ANZAC Day service, providing an opportunity for our school community to come together in remembrance.
We were proud to have members of the Lakes Entrance RSL involved in the service, along with representatives from Rotary and the Masonic Lodge, whose presence added to the significance of the occasion.
The service was a respectful and reflective event, acknowledging the courage, sacrifice and service of those who have served our country.
We were particularly proud of the way our students conducted themselves throughout the service. Their respect and attentiveness were a credit to themselves and to our college.
Lest we forget
On Saturday 25th April, the college proudly participated in the local ANZAC Day Service, paying respect to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.
The college was represented by College Captain Killian McCarthy and Year 12 Student Blake Nairn, who conducted themselves with great maturity and respect throughout the ceremony.
After delivering a moving reading of the poem “At the Going Down of the Sun,” Killian and Blake laid a wreath at the cenotaph on behalf of the school community.
Their participation reflected the college’s ongoing commitment to honouring the ANZAC spirit and acknowledging the significance of this important national day.
