Hello Prep Families,

I cannot believe we have completed a whole term of school! I feel so proud of each of the students. Seeing their growth in these 10 weeks has been amazing. They should all be feeling so proud of how they have settled in to schooling life. I wanted to take an opportunity to thank you for all you have done to support them. It makes a massive difference.

Literacy

This week in our literacy lessons we met Milo’s friends Leo the lion and Vicky the vulture. We identified the first sound in Leo’s name as /l/ and the first sound in Vicky’s name as /v/.

Maths

This week, we explored 2D shapes. We used shape blocks to create different pictures.  We focused on identifying circles, triangles, squares and rectangles. We then used them to create our own 2D shape robots!

Teddy Bear Picnic 

We had such a fun time with our buddies at our Teddy Bear Picnic on Wednesday! We played games, ate yummy food and had SO much fun!

Thank you for a wonderful first term, and I cannot wait for all the learning and fun for term 2! But before then, enjoy a well-earned break and eat lots of easter chocolate!
