What's been happening this week?

MAKING BOATS
What a wonderful way to wrap up a fantastic Term 1! Our Year 3/4 students concluded their Inquiry unit, “Material World,” by testing their boat designs. It was exciting to see that many boats successfully floated, carried numerous ducks, and even held up in the rain! Throughout the project, students worked collaboratively and proudly demonstrated our school value of Creativity.

EASTER EGG HUNT
To celebrate the end of term, students also took part in an Easter Egg Hunt with a mathematical twist. The Year 3/4s created and followed written directions to locate hidden eggs, combining problem-solving with plenty of fun. Each group was rewarded with treats at the end of the hunt.
Thank you to our students and families for a fantastic Term 1. We wish you all a safe and enjoyable break!
