Assessments & Homework

As assessments are introduced and completed, some students are beginning to feel the pressure and may be finding it difficult to keep track of what is required in each of their subjects. Parents and Guardians can support their student by asking a few questions at home or taking some time to help them sort through the work that comes home with them. Don’t forget to ask if they have written down assessments in their diaries! Please remind your child that it is OK to speak with their teacher during or after class about things they are finding difficult. Students looking for additional help are welcome to attend either the Maths Help sessions on Mondays at 3:30pm in M13, or the English Help that is offered each Thursday at 3:30pm in M wing.

School Values

Well done to three of our Year 7 students Olivia Papst, Cooper Bradshaw & Oliver Duff who have gone above and beyond in and out of the classroom recently and were awarded a $5 canteen voucher each.

It’s fantastic seeing so many different students receive value awards come through on SEQTA.

Lockers

Year 7 students are reminded that you MUST have a lock on your locker. Any valuables left inside is the student's responsibility. Locks also help look after the hinges so that the doors are not left swinging and bending- this also keeps Mr Queale happy!

Class Spotlight

In 7F students were learning to perform a range of athletic skills using correct technique however because it was raining students got to compete against each other in a game of dodgeball.
