Level 4

Over the past week, students have been challenged to strengthen their knowledge of multiplication facts in class. Developing mastery of these facts is an important foundation for future mathematical learning and helps students build confidence, accuracy and fluency in their problem solving. We would greatly appreciate support at home through short, regular practice sessions of just 2–5 minutes as often as you can. If you would like support, resources or advice on ways to make multiplication practice engaging and effective at home, please feel free to stop in and speak with one of the Year 4 teachers, we would be more than happy to help!
