Prep land has been full of excitement and special memories! We started week 3 with a visit from Melissa and Henry (her dog) who taught us about Responsible Pet Ownership. This included times when it's inappropriate to pat a dog, staying still with our hands and eyes down if an angry dog approaches you, and how to approach an owner to ask for permission to pat their dog:

1. Walk up slowly and stop 3 feet away
2. Ask the owner
3. Let the dog smell your hand
4. Stroke gently

On Thursday 7th May, we held our special Mother's/Special Person Morning ♥️It was a beautiful morning filled with yummy treats, bookmark making, self portraits and bracelet making, with a splash of wild weather. Thank you enormously to the special people in our students' lives who made it such a wonderful morning together! The students were beaming with pride for the rest of their day!
