Year 6 French Success in the Berthe Mouchette Poetry Competition

The French Department is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of one of our Year 6 students, Louan B, who has won the Berthe Mouchette Poetry Competition this year. 

This prestigious national competition, organised annually by the Alliance Française, recognises excellence in the French language and expression, and Louan’s accomplishment is a testament to his passion and dedication.

On Monday 17 November, Louan attended a formal award ceremony at The Capitol, where he was honoured for his exceptional performance. Surrounded by fellow finalists, teachers, and proud family members, he accepted his prize, reciting his poem beautifully and with great confidence.

We congratulate Louan on this remarkable achievement and commend him for representing our school with such distinction.
