Community Update

A message of gratitude to our Volunteers, Sponsors, and Donors

The spirit of giving strengthens community bonds by uniting people around shared goals. Here at Loreto, our events, celebrations, and developments as a College encourage collaboration among students, staff, families, and local businesses. These collective efforts create a strong sense of unity and belonging, as everyone works together to make a meaningful difference. This has meant that the College broadens as more than just a place of learning and becomes a hub of connection and mutual support.

This has never been truer than at Loreto this year. We have been deeply moved by the generosity of our community, whether through volunteering, donations, sponsorship, or offering support. Watching our community come together in the true spirit of the College has been both inspiring and heartwarming. On Monday evening, we were delighted to host a special event to thank our community for the many contributions so generously shared with us throughout 2025. Your support helps our college live out our values of giving back and nurturing a spirit of generosity—one that not only enriches the lives of those who receive support but also creates a happier, more connected environment for everyone in our community.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our supporters for being part of the Loreto giving culture, and we hope you truly felt our gratitude on Monday night.

You may have seen an email earlier this week about Expressions of Interest for Class Representatives, the P&F Committee, and volunteer roles. We would be incredibly grateful if you were able to nominate for any of these positions. Please complete the Expression of Interest form here to get involved.

Reminder: Autumn Fair Planning Meeting

On Monday, 1 December at 6.00pm, we’ll be holding a special Autumn Fair 2026 Planning Meeting, led by the P&F Committee. The meeting will take place in the Acacias Boardroom, and we warmly welcome all P&F members, class representatives, and parents to come along and be part of this exciting event. Next year’s Autumn Fair will be held on Sunday, 29 March 2026. This much-loved biennial event brings our whole school community together for a fun-filled family day, with each year level running its own stall, proudly organised by families from that cohort. It’s always a vibrant, community-spirited day that everyone enjoys being part of!

We hope to see you at the planning meeting as we start preparing for another exciting Autumn Fair in 2026.

Keeping Talbot Grove Safe for Everyone

We ask all parents to please support safety on Talbot Grove. Vehicles must not stop to drop children off, as this creates dangerous bottlenecks. Please take extra care when crossing the road and ensure all traffic rules are followed at all times. Your cooperation helps keep our students and community safe.
