It’s hard to believe we have reached the end of Term 2 ( we are midway through the school year).  The administration team would like to share a few reminders about student attendance records and lost property.

 

Student Attendance

If your child is going to be absent due to illness, an appointment, family reason or a holiday, please add an attendance note in Compass as soon as possible.  This helps our teachers and office staff plan for the day and ensures our attendance records remain accurate.

Please note, that if an attendance has not been explained by 10:00am, Compass will automatically send an email advising that your child has been marked as absent.  Adding an attendance note before this time helps avoid unnecessary notifications.

 

Late Arrivals and Early Departures

If your child arrives late to school, please remember to visit the office to collect a late pass.  This records their arrival on Compass and lets their teacher know they have arrived safely at school. Similarly, if you need to collect your child early, please visit the office to obtain an early departure pass.  This ensures your child is signed out correctly.

 

Lost Property

We kindly ask families ensure that all school uniforms, lunch boxes, drink bottles, bags, school badges, hats and other personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child’s name.  Named items are much easier to return to their owner and help reduce the amount of lost property throughout our school.  Families are welcome to check the school’s lost property storage box located in the Main Building for any missing items.

 

The office staff are always happy to help with attendance issues or any other questions you may have.
