Senior Learning Community

It has been a wonderfully full and productive term, and we hope you’ve enjoyed taking a moment to read through your child’s semester report. It’s always a special opportunity to celebrate their growth, achievements, and the effort they bring to their learning each day.

Year 5 – Father Junjun

We were lucky enough to have Father Junjun make time in his busy schedule to visit us and have a chat about what we have been learning in religion. We have been looking at all things reconciliation, and it was awesome to ask all our wonderings to our Reconciliation expert. Thanks so much, Father!

Year 6 – Graduation Book

As we prepare our Year 6 Graduation Book, we are gathering Foundation photos for students who did not attend our school in their Foundation year. If your child joined us later and you have a professional Foundation school photo, we kindly ask that you email it to Miss Wilson or Mrs Hodgson.

If you only have a physical copy, your child is welcome to bring it to school. We will scan it carefully and return it promptly.

Next term, our students will be exploring Once by Morris Gleitzman, a powerful and deeply moving novel that invites thoughtful discussion. The story touches on significant historical events and themes such as loss, resilience, and the impact of war.

We approach these topics with great care and sensitivity, ensuring students feel supported as they engage with the text. This unit provides a meaningful opportunity for rich conversations, empathy building, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
