Catholic Identity

Loving God,
We thank You for guiding us through this term —
for the lessons we’ve learned,
the friendships we’ve made,
and the challenges that helped us grow.
Bless our teachers, classmates, and families
for their care, patience, and encouragement.
Help us to rest well during the holidays,
to return refreshed, ready to learn,
and to keep kindness in our hearts always.
We are grateful for every moment,
and we look forward to the new adventures ahead.
Amen.

Mercy Awards
Our first Mercy Award for Term 3 will be focusing on the quality of ‘Service.’
Sr Mary Austin was a Sister of Mercy and a very special person to our school community here at St Joseph's. She gave service to many people in need - visiting them, baking for them and praying for them.
We can be just like Sr Austin and show service too.
Some ways we can show SERVICE here at St Joseph's are:
- using helping hands, caring actions and kind words
- taking care of our environment (our common home)
- offering to do jobs for others
- being a good friend
- helping those in need when they need it most
Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be held on Friday, September 11th.
Any baptised students in Grade 3 or above are able to enrol in this program. This is the Sacrament that children take part in beforethe Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. It is a home-based program undertaken over 5 weeks leading up to the ceremony.
An information session will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd at 5:00pm in the staffroom.
An email with a registration link was sent on Friday, June 26th.
