Child Safety

At Stella Maris, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. As part of Victoria's Child Safe Standards, Standard 7 ensures that all schools have child-focused processes for responding to complaints and concerns.

You may have noticed new posters displayed around our school encouraging children to speak to a trusted adult if they ever feel unsafe, worried or afraid. These posters reinforce an important message—that every child has the right to feel safe and to have their voice heard.

We want every child and family to know that if something doesn't feel right, it is always okay to speak up.
