Extra Curricular Activities
Lunchtime Clubs Are Underway at Stella Maris!
We are delighted to see our lunchtime clubs up and running for Semester 2, providing students with even more opportunities to connect, explore their interests and develop new skills in a fun and inclusive environment.
Our current lunchtime club timetable includes:
- Tuesday (Recess): Art Club with Mrs O
- Tuesday (Lunchtime): Lego Masters
- Wednesday (Recess): Choir
- Wednesday (Lunchtime): Bookworm Club in the Library
- Thursday (Lunchtime): Chess Club
These clubs offer students a wonderful opportunity to build friendships across year levels, develop confidence and engage in activities they enjoy in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Each club provides unique benefits:
- Art Club encourages creativity, self-expression and imagination.
- Lego Masters develops problem-solving, teamwork, creativity and engineering thinking through hands-on challenges.
- Bookworm Club fosters a love of reading, encourages discussion about books and helps students develop literacy skills in an enjoyable way.
Chess Club strengthens strategic thinking, concentration, patience and decision-making while promoting respectful competition.
Lunchtime clubs also provide students with meaningful ways to spend their break times, supporting positive wellbeing, social connection and a strong sense of belonging within our Stella Maris community.
We thank our staff for generously giving their time to facilitate these clubs and look forward to seeing them continue to grow throughout the semester.
