Steiner Program Information

We have received some enquiries from our community regarding the operation of the Steiner program since we announced last year that we would be phasing out the program from 2027 and information published in the last edition of Dhumbadjirri.

I wanted to take the opportunity to provide the whole school community with some clarity regarding the Steiner program so that all families are aware of how we are managing this change.

Please note we are only able to offer mainstream enrolments for students across all year levels, as the Steiner program is being phased out.

We are continually monitoring student movement and planning resource allocations for future years. Based on current student enrolment data and projections, we anticipate that we will be offering the following Steiner classes in 2027:

· Grade 1

· Grade 2/3

· Grade 4/5

We acknowledge that it may be disappointing for students who were scheduled to commence Grade 6 in 2027. Please be assured current Grade 5 students will be offered a place and supported transition from the Steiner program to our mainstream program.
