Our Faith Journey

Welcome to our RE community -where faith is shared, lived,

 and celebrated together.

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

(Matthew 14:13–21)

Think about

What does this Gospel teach us about the importance of sharing what we have?

How does this Gospel challenge us to respond when we see someone who is hungry, lonely, or in need?

Expression of Faith

Students in Grades 1-2 engaging with the Gospel alongside our Parish Priest Fr Andrew, provided an opportunity to deepen their  understanding of Scripture and strengthen their shared expression of faith. Through  dialogue and discussion our students were supported to explore the meaning of the Gospel, its relevance to their lives, and how it can be authentically shared with the wider community.

Celebrating the creativity and faith of our Foundation students!

The photo on this page is the Art work of our Foundation students.

We are incredibly proud of our young artists whose beautiful artwork was showcased at the RE Symposium: Inspired by Faith (MACS) held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 22–23 July. Their artwork reflects the wonder, creativity, and faith-filled learning taking place in our classrooms.

A special thank you to our wonderful Art teacher, Mrs Longano, for nurturing our students’ creativity and supporting them to share their gifts with the wider Catholic education community. We are so proud of our Foundation students and their inspiring work!

 Grades 3-4R/A  Parish Mass

On Sunday, 9th August, our Year 3-4 students from St Peter’s are rostered to participate in the 9:00am Parish Mass, followed by hosting morning tea until 11:00am. This is an invitation for all students, not just the Catholic students.

This is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the partnership between St Peter’s Primary School and St Peter’s Parish. Participation in Parish Mass is also a school and curriculum expectation, supporting the spiritual growth of our students and fostering a strong sense of Parish–School community. We kindly ask that parents accompany their children during the Mass. Please ensure students arrive by 8:50am so we can begin on time.

Morning Tea

Families are warmly invited to bring a plate of food to share with parishioners. Please present your contribution on a disposable plate or in a clearly labelled container and deliver it to the parish hall before 9:00am.

Kindly ensure all food is nut-free.

A sincere thank you to Kim, Rosy and Shanika for generously volunteering to coordinate the morning tea. We would greatly appreciate additional parent support in the kitchen to assist with serving and cleaning up.

If you have any questions or would like to let the coordinators know what you plan to bring, please contact them directly using the details provided below.

We look forward to gathering with our students and families for this special Parish and School celebration.

Warm regards,Mrs Russell, Mrs Abrahams and Mrs De Visser

Congratulations  Aden on receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist, and to your beautiful baby brother Andre on receiving the Sacrament of Baptism at St John Vianney's Parish.

What a wonderful celebration of faith for your family! It is a blessing to see your family walking alongside you, supporting and encouraging you as you continue your journey with Jesus. The love, guidance, and example of your family will help you grow in faith and live out God's love each day.
