Foundation and Year 1 “We Are Special” Assembly
Last Friday, 24th October, our Foundation and Year 1 students led a beautiful assembly prayer celebrating the theme “I Am Special.”
Through prayer, song, and reflection, the students shared how each of us is created in God’s image, with unique gifts and talents to share with others.
Their joyful singing and heartfelt words reminded us all that we are loved by God and called to use our special gifts to make the world a better place.
A big thank you to our youngest learners and their teachers for helping us reflect on what it means to be special in God’s eyes.
Grandparents Day Assembly
Tomorrow - Friday 31st October
Tomorrow, 31st October we look forward to welcoming our grandparents and loved ones to our special Grandparents and the Elderly Assembly, led by Year 1/2 Anderson and Year 1/2 Brand.
This celebration is a wonderful opportunity to honour and give thanks for the wisdom, love, and care our grandparents and elders share with us each day.
Our students have been preparing prayers, songs, and reflections to express their gratitude and joy. We can’t wait to come together as a school community to celebrate these very special people in our lives.
Loving God,
We thank You for the gift of our grandparents and all the elderly in our lives.
They share their wisdom, stories, and love,
showing us what it means to care deeply and live faithfully.
Bless them with good health, peace, and joy.
May they always feel valued and loved for the special role they play in
our families and community.
Help us to follow their example of kindness and faith.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
